Collets identification guide: how to distinguish the collet model and size

For CNC tool clamping systems collets, as different countries have different standards, there are ER collets, collets TG, collets SYOZ / EOC / RDO, collets DA, collets SK, collets C type, collets K type, etc. Some of these collets model look alike, so makes users confused when they replaced the old collets. RicoCNC now shows you the collet identification guide:

Collets ER, TG, SYOZ/EOC/RDO, DA, SK are all unique measures. Even if brands have worn away, noted the shape and carefully measure your collets, you can determine what types and sizes of collets it is. Measure the length (L) and depth (D) collets. Then use the guide below to select the right collets replacement.

Newbie - What type of collet is this?

I am a newbie, just getting into machining. I have 3-axis vertical-axis mill with an MT3 taper, a mill collet chuck and a partial set of collets. I cannot determine the type of the collets that I have and so I cannot complete the set.

The collets are 1.78" long (45.2 mm) and 0.94" (23.9 mm) in diameter at the widest part. The diameter of the narrow end (the upper end when installed in the chuck and mill) is 0.78" (19.8 mm) in diameter. The angle of the taper is 4 degrees measured from the axis of the collet. I would like to have attached two photos, but the sit wouldn't let me. Perhaps it is because this is my first post.

Could someone tell me what type of collet this is? The only markings on the collets are the size of the mill shank, and the only markings on the collet chuck is "MT3", presumably the taper.

Best regards,

Peter
