Product Description

Our silicone sponge strips are perfect for use in applications which require a soft and flexible material. They also feature an excellent temperature range as well as good flammability resistance. We can supply strips with a width of 5mm to 100mm, in thicknesses ranging from 1.5mm to 15mm. This product is available in 10m lengths as standard, with larger sizes being sold in 2 x 5m lengths.

Featuring a soft and smooth out layer, our silicone sponge strips are manufactured from a closed cell silicone sponge. Closed cell materials contain thousands of tiny pockets which are all sealed off from one another. This prevents air and liquid from being able to pass through the material, giving it superior sealing properties. It also makes the material resistant to bacteria and mildew build up, making the strips more hygienic overall.

Another key feature of our silicone sponge strips is the products excellent temperature range. Our strips are able to withstand temperatures as low as -60°C and as high as 200°C. This makes them highly versatile, and also greatly increases the general life expectancy of the product.

This particular product meets FAR 25/JAR25/CS 25 Appendix F, Part 1 (a)(1)(iv) as well as (a)(1)(v) horizontal flammability requirements.
