Before you attempt to blow out oil in your engine, it is crucial to take necessary precautions. This includes gathering the right tools and ensuring a safe workspace.
Make sure to work in a well-ventilated area away from open flames and other hazards. Ensure that the engine has cooled down to prevent burns.

Start your engine and let it run for a few minutes. This warms up the oil, making it less viscous and easier to drain.

Using the appropriate wrench, locate the oil drain plug at the bottom of the oil pan. Place the oil catch pan underneath and carefully remove the plug. Allow the oil to drain completely into the pan.
While the oil is draining, use an oil filter wrench to remove the old oil filter. Apply a little new oil to the gasket of the new filter before installing it. Make sure it is tightened securely.

Using a funnel, pour the new oil into the engine through the oil fill cap. Refer to your vehicle’s manual for the correct oil type and amount.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This allows the new oil to circulate throughout the engine. Check for leaks around the oil drain plug and oil filter.
Dispose of the used oil and oil filter at a recycling center or an authorized disposal site. Never pour used oil down the drain or on the ground.
